The National Center of Expertise of the KKKBTU Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports that mobile PCR laboratories in the cities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty have begun examining delivered samples for coronavirus infection.
It is worth noting that these laboratories do not accept citizens or collect biological material. Samples taken from citizens in clinics and hospitals are received here for prompt and high-quality research.
All samples are delivered to the laboratory by mobile teams formed from NCE specialists and medical institutions. The research results in electronic and paper (if necessary) versions are sent to the Departments of Quality Control and Safety of Goods and Services, as well as to the medical institutions that sent samples for research.
The laboratories are staffed by qualified virologists from NCE branches who have been trained by specialists from the Chinese scientific center BGI Group.
Samples of the following citizens are delivered to these laboratories:
If cases of coronavirus infection are detected, all necessary measures will be taken in accordance with the current decree of the chief state sanitary doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Let us remind you that modular laboratory complexes were launched in Nur-Sultan and Almaty to conduct fast and high-precision PCR screening for coronavirus. The laboratory, characterized by mobility, a high level of biosafety and automation of the research process, was donated by the Bulat Utemuratov Foundation to the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
