17.05.2018 As part of the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the RSE at the RPE “National Center of Expertise” of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a conference call on the issue of implementation by anti-corruption entities, within their competence, of activities to preserve and strengthen the value system in society, reflecting intolerance to corruption.

The event was attended by representatives of the Public Health Committee of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs and Anti-Corruption in Astana, as well as representatives of the Astana city branch of the RPO “Public Movement Against Corruption “Zhanaru”.

  During the meeting, the General Director of the National Center of Expertise, Kanat Balykbaev, informed the meeting participants about the work carried out by the Enterprise to combat corruption based on eliminating corruption risks in the provision of services.

Thus, in order to create an anti-corruption culture, in 2018 the Enterprise developed and approved documents such as an anti-corruption standard, an ethical memo for NCE clients, an order to prevent suppliers from interacting with NCE structural divisions and members of commissions for the acceptance of goods, works, and services.

According to K. Balykbaev, in each NCE branch there is a list of documents on stands, information on the timing of consideration of applications and issuance of documents, an ethical memo for clients, and brochures regarding anti-corruption.

In addition, on an ongoing basis, branches conduct open days for the population and entrepreneurs, and surveys on corruption issues among employees and the population using NCE services.

In turn, employees of the ADSSP Department explained the main directions of modern anti-corruption policy, the requirements of the Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the norms of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Combating Corruption”.

The meeting participants also expressed their opinions on anti-corruption issues and received comprehensive answers to their questions.
