Today, for employees of the National Center of Expertise, the Department of the Anti-Corruption Service in Astana explained issues related to legislative changes in anti-corruption, aimed at introducing new tools based on advanced international standards.
Representatives of the Anti-Corruption Service explained in detail about changes in the field of combating corruption, the detection procedure and penalties, and also gave examples from real practice of corruption offenses committed.
One of the key aspects of the changes is the improvement of the activities of anti-corruption compliance services in quasi-public sector entities.
Also, innovations in anti-corruption legislation provide for measures to control the illegal enrichment of officials and ensure adequate protection for persons reporting cases of corruption.
Taking into account the discussion, it was recommended to take measures aimed at minimizing corruption offenses and eradicating corruption risks.
The NCE will carry out compliance with these measures in close cooperation with the Anti-Corruption Service, and will also work on its prevention on an ongoing basis.
