During a working visit to the West Kazakhstan region, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova visited a branch of the National Center of Expertise.
During her visit to the branch, the Minister of Health got acquainted with the work of the laboratories and discussed with specialists a number of issues related to the infrastructure of the facility, the volume of water tests carried out, and products for the purpose of confirming compliance.
In connection with the current flood situation, the minister instructed laboratory specialists to conduct operational research to ensure the safety of drinking water.
NCE laboratories are a key tool for monitoring the quality of drinking water and food products.
During the emergency situation in the region, 9 district offices and the regional center of the branch are busy taking samples and conducting laboratory tests.
According to the data, as of April 15 of this year, the laboratories of the NCE branch collected 779 water samples (tap, open reservoirs, wells), and conducted 4,583 studies on sanitary-chemical, bacteriological, parasitological and virological indicators.
