Today, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Republican State Enterprise on the Right of Economic Management “National Center of Expertise” (NCE) and the Non-Profit Joint-Stock Company “Astana Medical University” at the premises of Astana Medical University. The document aims to foster partnership and implement joint projects in the fields of science, education, and healthcare workforce development.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Chairman of the Management Board of the NCE, Yerlan Kiyasov, and the Chair of the Management Board – Rector of Astana Medical University, Anar Turmukhambetova. Under the agreement, the parties committed to jointly developing educational programs, conducting scientific research, organizing scientific and educational events, and engaging young professionals in research activities.

The memorandum is also intended to enhance the quality of medical education and contribute to the training of highly qualified specialists for Kazakhstan’s healthcare system.

The National Center of Expertise plays a key role in ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population by conducting laboratory studies, environmental factor assessments, and organizing disinfection and deratization activities.

An important aspect of NCE’s work is also the training of specialists through various supplementary and non-formal educational programs in the field of public health and sanitary-epidemiological safety.
