A specialist from the National Center of Expertise won the "Best in the Profession – 2026" competition.

In Astana, at the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, an award ceremony was held for the winners of the republican competition among medical workers, timed to coincide with Medical Worker Day.

Among the winners of the competition is Aliya Zhanseitova, a doctor of the sanitary-epidemiological service of the laboratory of bacteriological and parasitological research of the branch of the National Center of Expertise in the Almaty region, who was awarded the title “Best Specialist of Sanitary-Epidemiological Expertise”.

The high award was recognition of many years of professional experience, high level of competence and significant contribution of the specialist to ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population.

Aliya Kayrtaevna devoted 28 years to the sanitary and epidemiological service. After graduating from the Karaganda State Medical Institute with a degree in medical and preventive care, she began her career as a bacteriologist, and later headed a bacteriological laboratory. Today she works in the laboratory of bacteriological and parasitological research of the branch of the National Center of Expertise in the Almaty region.

Over the years of work, Aliya Zhanseitova has made a significant contribution to the development of laboratory diagnostics in the region. She is proficient in modern methods of bacteriological research, participates in the investigation of cases of food poisoning and nosocomial infections, advises laboratories on microbiological control issues and takes part in the implementation of modern approaches to laboratory diagnostics.

The specialist pays special attention to improving professional qualifications. In 2024, she completed training in Germany on the organization of laboratory services, biosafety and the implementation of the One Health concept.

We congratulate Aliya Zhanseitova on her well-deserved victory and wish her further professional achievements and new successes for the benefit of the country’s healthcare system.
