As of the first half of 2025, approximately 2.9 million studies and measurements were conducted across the cities and regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, work was carried out to treat 9,845 infection hotspots. This refers to the implementation of final disinfection measures in domestic and organized foci of infectious diseases.
The National Center for Expertise is consistently implementing a program to bring the laboratories of its regional branches in line with international quality standards. These efforts are part of a comprehensive strategy to strengthen the capacity of the National Center for Expertise’s laboratory network.
During the first half of 2025, 175 units of laboratory equipment were purchased to enhance the material and technical base of the branch laboratories. The procured equipment includes high-precision instruments as well as tools for laboratory-instrumental analysis. By the end of the current year, an additional 200 units of equipment are planned to be supplied for regional, city, and rural laboratories.
The laboratories of the National Center for Expertise are accredited in accordance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories” and are authorized to use the Combined ILAC-MRA Laboratory Mark. As of the first half of 2025, 18 regional, 14 city, and 67 district branch units have been accredited under the GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 standard. Work to bring the laboratories into full compliance with international quality standards is ongoing.
As part of laboratory infrastructure modernization, repair work was completed in 9 laboratories in the first half of the year. In 18 laboratories, renovations are scheduled to be completed in the second half of the year.
Work on renewing the vehicle fleet of the NCE branch network also continued. By midyear, 21 vehicles had been purchased. These new vehicles expand the technical capabilities of our specialists. Work in this area is ongoing.
Thanks to the continuous improvement and development of the service, a high level of sanitary and epidemiological well-being and public health protection is being maintained across the regions.
